We know there are a few movies depicting biblical stories (accuracy debatable), but our Fall message series “I heard it in a movie” uses famous movie lines as a jumping off point to explore various biblical lessons. Starts SEP 20. Sit back and enjoy.

Resurrection is a Christian church of Methodist heritage. We share with Christians throughout history faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior of the world. We look to the bible for inspiration and instruction. And we affirm the basic statements of faith found in such creeds as the Apostles’ Creed. Aside from faith in Christ, we do not all think alike, but are committed to growing together as a community bound by Christ’s love.

The United Methodist Church is a global church with mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Its founder, John Wesley, and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on the grace of God freely offered to each person, and on putting faith and love into action.
